When you purchase a home, you will have the right to a final walkthru of the property. This is to ensure the seller has moved all their belongings and the property is in acceptable condition. The house is supposed to be completely empty and in ‘broom swept’ condition.
Unfortunately, things don’t always go as planned!
These pictures are of a house that was due to close in less than an hour. The sellers belongings were still in the home! The shed was still stuffed to the rafters as was to back office building. UGH! Resolving this matter got tricky and required some finesse. It was finally resolved, but not without incident. This situation was trying for everyone involved.
These types of situations are not included in any real estate training manuals!
